AAF-Louisville is dedicated to the vibrancy and diversity of the advertising profession, and many of our programs and initiatives are focused on these goals. Each year, AAF-Louisville awards two $2,500 scholarships for students pursuing careers in an advertising-related field, with one specifically dedicated to minority students. The Bud Ballard and Diversity scholarships are supported by an endowment fund established in 1999, and are sustained through continued fundraising and donations. To continue to grow these scholarships, a deposit must be made to the endowment every year.

Please help us support future leaders in advertising.

Members & Friends-

As we wrap up the 2018-2019 club year, I want to thank each of you for being involved in our organization. Over the past year, we were able to honor creative excellence through increased entries and attendance in our ADDY awards. Additionally, we received the most diversity scholarship applicants in our history, celebrated the 20th anniversary of our endowment fund, and enhanced our membership benefits through great new offerings.

In June, we were pleased to honor our outstanding members that went above and beyond at our Annual Meeting & Membership Awards at the Kentucky Derby Museum. We showcased a new video that honors our endowment which awards scholarships annually to students to ensure advertising and communications always has a great future. We were able to roll up our sleeves and help Habitat for Humanity and continue volunteering our time and talent to help our local community.

I am pleased to report that at ADMERICA, AAF’s National Conference, it was announced that many new initiatives will be implemented in the coming year to further advance our cause of being the Unifying Voice of Advertising.

Be on the lookout through July for our exciting Diversity Event with a rock-star panel as well as two of our Grow with Google webinar series. We will see you there!

-Chris Nation, 2018-2019 President
